• The weather was gorgeous, the perfect night for a swim meet.  Our superheroes were fantastic, but our powers were not strong enough to beat those Mallards.  Final score was Dunmoor-354, Neely Farm 430. I witnessed some wonderful sportsmanship this week.  I hope we can continue our trend of being an awesome team to swim against.  
• Weekly Awards:  Congratulations to our Dunmoor Diamondbacks Swimmers of the week: Harper Swearingen, Veronica Hedrick, Matthew Heaney, Elizabeth Greenlee, Patrick Manning, Catherine Hannah, Julia Kaminski, and Enzo Forcucci.  Best Dressed Superheroes: Camillo Forcucci, Katie Heaney, and Megan Evonsion.  Next week's theme:  Tie-Dye!!  I'm sure we will be quite the colorful bunch.  I know you all own tie-dye so we start getting those costumes ready!
• RSVPs for the next meet ARE DUE NOW!! 
• TOMORROW STROKE CLINIC:  You can still sign up by RSVPing online. The coaches will be working on Breaststroke and Butterfly.  These stroke clinics are very beneficial with a low swimmer to coach ratio.  The cost is only $5, payable to the coaches.  It is held at our pool from 9am-10am.  This one is 7 yr olds and up only.
• Our next meet is Thursday: HOME vs. Nesbit Lakes. EVERYONE with a swimmer swimming Thursday will be expected to volunteer.  The volunteer sign up will open Monday morning.  If you do not sign up, one will be assigned to you.  Each family is responsible for volunteering 6 times, which averages out to once per meet.  Also thanks to Leigh Anne, Erin Manning, Kim Greenlee, and our ribbon crew this morning for being flexible with their volunteer positions and assisting in areas they didn't sign up for.  
• Big THANKS to John and Jill Federico in the Concession Stand last night!   Way to go Federicos!!
• Also thanks to those who offered up to fill in the vacant bullpen slots.  I really appreciate all of the help I'm receiving this year. :)
