Dunmoor Diamondbacks is a summer recreational swim team. We welcome all swimmers of any ability so long as they can complete a 25 yard swim unassisted. Our focus is on teaching swimming in a fun, safe, and supportive way. We hope each and every swimmer leaves practice and our meets with a smile and with an opportunity for growth.   

We welcome swimmers from neighborhoods outside of the Dunmoor.  We practice most days Monday-Friday, May 18th through June 25th.

MEET THE COACHES

Dawn Clawson

Hello, I am Dawn Clawson, and I live in Dunmoor with my husband and 4 children. I am an educator with more than 15 years experience in both public and private schools. I spent my summers growing up working as a lifeguard and swim instructor for over 10 years! Later in life, I also taught water aerobics in Madison, WI. I love swimming and have a passion for teaching kids how to swim! I look forward to working with you and your kids on the swim team this summer! Let's go, Dunmoor Diamondbacks!

Lily McIntosh

Hello, everyone! I am Lily McIntosh. I am a rising senior at Alpharetta high school, and I have been swimming for 11 years. I swim for Lifetime swim team year-round, and I am on AHS varsity swim and dive. I have been coaching for 3 summers now, and I was also an ASA official last summer. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with this amazing team, and for the ability to share the sport that I love with these swimmers! Go Dunmoor Diamondbacks!

Hello, my name is Asher McIntosh, and I’m a rising freshman at Alpharetta High School. This is my 7th year swimming and my first year coaching. I also play football and run track. I’m really excited to coach this team and help make it a fun and positive experience for everyone!

Phebe Connors

Hi, my name is Phebe Connors! I've been swimming since I was 5 years old and have pretty much grown up on swim team. I love summer swim because it has such a fun environment and creates lasting memories. My mom, aunt, and uncles all swam on the Dunmoor swim team, so I'm thrilled to be able to support the team they all love. I am so excited for the season and Go Diamondbacks!
