Important Info for this week:

• Meet 3 is Thursday HOME vs. Nesbit Lakes.  Swimmers should arrive in bullpens by 4:00 pm, warm ups begin at 4:15 pm.  Meet starts at 5:30 pm.  
• Volunteer signups opened today and will close Tuesday evening.  REMINDER:  Volunteer arrival times: Bullpens/Volunteer Coordinator 4:00 pm, Set up 2:30 pm, Concessions 4:30 pm, Timers/Judges/deck manager and most others: 5:00 pm. Remember to check in at the volunteer table to get your name badge, clipboard.  Timers/Judges, once you have your timer's meeting, go to your assigned lanes so we can begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
• Fun Thursday: Poster Party, 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the Dunmoor Pool.  Please bring your own markers. Posters and popsicles will be provided.  There will be NO CHARGE at the door (and pizza will NOT be provided as in past years).
• Meet Theme:  Tie dye!!!  There are awards for the best dressed.  However, there is no need to spend $ on your costume.  Parents, please dress in our team color/ Royal Blue if you are do not own tie dye!
• PICTURE DAY is FRIDAY!!  SWIMMERS SHOULD WEAR THEIR DIAMONDBACK'S TEAM SUIT!!!  Info is under events.  Timeline: 8 and under individuals-8:45 am, team picture is 9:15 am, 9 and up individuals at 9:30 am.  Individuals are optional.  Order forms for team picture and individuals can be found under "events", Link-"pdf document".  Checks should be made to Playful Photos by Michele.  Bring your order form and payment (check or exact cash) to practice on Friday.
• Stroke Clinic is Saturday 6/13 9 am-10 am.  Cost is $5 payable to coaches that morning.  The coaches will work on STARTS/TURNS.  Stroke clinic RSVP is online or you may sign up on the clipboard at practice.  Starts and Turns are so important in a race!!  If you don't have a great start and/or turn it is harder for you to stay in the lead.  
• RSVP online for 6/18 meet by this Friday.  You may also RSVP for the rest of the season if you know your availability.  Thanks if you already have RSVP'd!!

Side Notes:

• We are in week 6 out of 8!!  Time flies when you are having fun.  FYI, there is still time for me to train my replacement if someone would like to step up to take my place for next year.  As of now, you are STILL "rep-less" for next year.  
• Meet entries will be posted online Wednesday evening after the coaches exchange the lineups.  I will not send out a separate email.  You can find them by clicking "swim meet" tab, click desired meet.  Entries will be attached under "meet documents".
