Hello Diamondbacks!

Thank you to all our swimmers and volunteers at last week's meet at Hampton Hall!  Our swimmers had some great races and did a wonderful job!  Hampton Hall is a strong team that we do not normally swim against but we had them on our schedule this season for our kids to have a meet with kids they go to school with (and a neighborhood that is so close by).  And as always, the swim meets do not work with out the work of everyone pitching in!  Thank you to our wonderful Volunteers!!!

This week we have our ice cream social at our pool on Tuesday, June 14th at 7pm.  RSVPs for this fun event are due today on the website.  We also have our third swim on Thursday, June 16th away at Spring Ridge (more details will be sent out on this meet later this week).  But our theme for our swim meet this week is "Red, White and Blue"!

And if you would like to plan ahead, our theme for our June 23rd meet will be "Superhero" and our theme for our final meet (at home) on June 28th will be "Tie-dye".  We will also be holding our Poster Contest on the 28th.  Swimmers are encouraged to make posters that we will hang on display around the pool for that meet (there will also be prizes for Best Diamondback, Most Creative, Most Colorful,...).

Championships are only a couple weeks away!  We have our divisional meet at Georgia Tech on Thursday, June 30th at 3pm.  This is a great event and a fantastic opportunity for your swimmer(s) to get a chance to swim in an Olympic Pool!!!!  And it would be great for our team to have a strong showing of attendance this year!!!  More information to follow on this meet!

And PLEASE go on the website and RSVP for all meets and events!  At this point in the season everyone should have a handle of this.  Going forward if you have not RSVP'd on time your swimmer(s) will NOT be in the lineup for that meet.  You can RSVP for everything on the calendar now and can always make changes before the RSVP due date.
