Next Swim Season
Hello Diamondbacks!
I know you probably thought you would not have to read an email from me for a few more months at least! BUT we have two very BIG things that have to be dealt with ASAP IF we want to have a swim team in the spring!!!
1. I need someone to step up and volunteer to co lead with me next season and then be the lead for 2018 (in which you would have a co leader - there should always be two parents running the team). If someone does not volunteer then sadly we will not have a team for our kids to swim on in Dunmoor. (I am very organized so it really should take little time)
2. We need a HEAD COACH! Ideally a head coach is a college student who has coached before and is familiar with summer league swim teams and how they run. I know that there has been talk about hiring a professional coach and I would be open to that however there are two concerns with that direction (1. Cost and 2. Time - professional coaches usually have their own teams that they are working with and typically can not make it to practices, etc.).
Both of the above are necessary for a 2017 Swim Season in Dunmoor.
