Hello Dunmoor Diamondbacks!!!

TONIGHT is our first swim meet and it is at HOME!!!  We will be swimming against the Falls of Autrey Mill, should be fun as the kids go to school together!  Please remind your swimmers to be great hosts and display amazing sportsmanship!  We want EVERYONE to have a fun tonight.  Also, remember it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure your swimmer(s) is where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there.

Please have swimmers at the pool by 4:15pm!  Our team will warm up first, then the away team warms up and our meet will start promptly at 5:30pm.  Remember your sharpies, chairs, towels, sunscreen and cash (and support our team concessions!!!).

IMPORTANT:  We are very short volunteers tonight (we have a few swimmers that are out of town and others that are ill).  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE log in and sign up!  If you can sign up for additional shifts (or you and your spouse can volunteer) please do so.  Also, if you have not signed up and your swimmer will be swimming you have to sign up.  The swim meet can not go unless all volunteer spots are filled!  If we are unable to fill all necessary volunteer spots we will not have bullpens as those are not necessary to run a swim meet (they are just nice to have...).  I really appreciate all of you who are taking on more than your share!!!!!

Also, tonight two of our neighborhood tennis teams have home matches.  All swimmers and kids need to stay away from the tennis courts.  Please remind your swimmer(s) to stay in the pool area or bullpen area and not to go near the tennis courts fence.  Thank you.

FRIDAY!  Two Things:

1.  Fun Friday Practice.  Practice times are adjusted for Fridays and the swimmers will be able to play, get ribbons, eat a donut and find out who the swimmers of the week are.  8 & Under will be from 9:15am -10:00am.  9 & Up will be from 10:00am - 10:45am.  Times may be a little off due to team pictures tomorrow.

2.  PICTURE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!  Team pictures will be Friday (tomorrow) at 9:15am.  Attached is the order form for pictures.  Please have swimmers in their team suits at the pool Friday morning at 9:15am.  Following the team photo you can have individual (or siblings) photos taken.
