Meet and Fun Friday volunteering!
Good evening parents,
Glad to see a lot of families back this summer and excited to welcome lots of new ones!
Growing up on a summer swim team gave me some of my favorite childhood memories...long evenings at the pool, lifetime friends and a love of swimming. The hope is that all our kids (and you parents) feel the same way!
We need a lot of volunteers to run swim meets- it's a crazy month, but it goes quickly. I really need everyone to chip in at least a couple of meets so the same handful of people aren't working every meet. The volunteer positions are split so ideally each volunteer only needs to work one half of the meet.
All the meets are open for signup now so feel free to sign up. If you aren't sure what a role is, there are descriptions on the website. Please try to sign up for a slot during the mock meet to learn the role. Feel free to email me any questions, or I should be at the pool 5-6 tomorrow evening.
I am also attaching a sign up for Fun Friday- we need treats for the kiddos these Fridays after a meet. We have almost 70 kids on the team so find a friend to volunteer with/split the cost. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, could be cookies, popsicles, watermelon etc
