Hi Team! 

Owen and I just attended our annual coaches meeting about the Ga Tech ASA Swim Meet and are so excited to share that information with you as well as a couple of other important dates and events. 

3 Important Upcoming Dates and Events:

1. The deadline for the Ga Tech Meet is THIS Friday, June 20th. There are NO late entries- sorry! The late fee is crazy high per swimmer and per event and it's not worth it. The fees for Ga Tech are tied into your registration at the beginning of the season, so all may sign up and attend! 

Each swimmer may swim up to 2 individual events and 2 relay events. Please sign up for this ASAP and let Owen know directly what 2 events and 2 relays they want to do. He will do his best to accommodate all of the requests. 

We need at least 4 boy and 4 girls in each age group to be able to do the relays. This is so much fun for the kids! Please sign up for more swimmers can do the relays! 

On Thursday, June 26th, we will meet at Ga Tech. Each swimmer will get the opportunity to swim in their beautiful olympic-size pool, hang with friends, and see you child's name up on the big screen! It's a lot of fun. We will meet at Ga Tech around 2 pm that day and leave around 8:30 pm. More details will follow, but those are the cliff notes :)

Once the registration deadline has passed, we will have a meeting for parents and kids to help get you all ready! 

2. Our last 2 regular meets of the season are coming up! 

Thursday, June 19th- at Haynes Landing. We are waiting to hear what time they want us to warm up, but I am guessing we will need to be there by around 4:30-4:45 for warm ups. 

Tuesday, June 24th- Chartwell. They have a small team like us- we could win this one! We need as many swimmers who are in-town to attend and swim like you've never swam before! Arrival time will be around 4:30-4:45. Update coming soon. 

3. Last and not least- End of Year party will be a little later this year. Please join us, Friday, August 1st at 5 pm to celebrate your swimmers and all they have accomplished this season! There will be food, awards, and lots of success to celebrate! Save the date. More details to follow.
