Great meet tonight and Fun Friday!
Hi Team,
What a fun meet tonight! I was so impressed with all of the cheering going on between our big and little swimmers! We had so many kids swimming new events tonight, and our newest member, Skye, swam in her first meet ever and ROCKED it! It's so fun to watch the grow we are having as a team already and it's only the second meet.
When comparing scores- if we looked at points only from events that we both teams swam in, we would have won!!! Unfortunately, they had swimmers in events that we didn't have any swimmers for and we lost those points, so they won in the end. Still, I am so proud of all of the hard work and positivity that was shared by all! That's a big win in my book!
Fun Friday is tomorrow- we will have cookies from our fabulous parent volunteers and hand out ribbons. My family is heading out of town tomorrow afternoon for a much needed break, but Owen and Ella will be there to hand out ribbons and answer any questions you may have.
