Hi 2025 Dunmoor swim team,

Hope everyone is ready for a great summer. In order to make this an awesome swim season for the kids we need lots of parent volunteers for the meets!

Similar to last season, you will be able to sign up for either 1st or 2nd shift for each position (either first or second half of the meet.) There are also volunteer spots open for helping with meet set-up and take down. Sandra and Jarod have agreed to help with concession stand again this summer and we will have a King of Pops cart on site for home meets. Chris is going to be our home meet announcer again. Thank you three for always being willing to help! 

We do need a couple of volunteers for the 'computer' role- this person (ideally 2 people) enters the scores during the swim meet. You could even volunteer for just one meet!

We are asking that each family volunteers at least 1 parent for ONE shift each meet. Doing these shorter shifts should allow parents to be able to watch their own kids swim and split up the volunteering more equally.

If you go to the 'Meets/Events' tab at the top of Swimtopia you can enter your swimmer's availability for the meets and sign up for jobs. I have opened the first two meets for sign ups. Please feel free to contact me with any volunteer concerns or if you see anything I need to change.

Coach Dawn is holding a mock meet Tuesday May 27th at the Dunmoor pool at 5pm-  please try to attend so you can see what each position entails and what may be a good fit for you, especially if you are new to the team!
