Swim Team Registration Announcement

I am happy to announce that we are ready to open registration for The Dunmoor Diamondback Swim Team 2025 season!

Register by April 1st to avoid any late fees given by ASA. 

Things to know:

Practice will start mid-May and continue until our ASA Swim Meet at Ga Tech on June 26 or June 27 (TBD).

We will have evening practices M-Th.

Practices will take place starting at 5 pm. We plan to have a shorter practice for our young 6 and under swimmers from 5:00-5:30, ages 7-8 & 9-10 from 5:30-6:15 and 11 and older from 6:15-7:00. This is subject to change slightly depending on how many kids we have in each age group. 

The age control date for the league is the swimmer's age as of May 31st.

“Fun Fridays” will begin after our first swim meet. This is where we celebrate our efforts, give our ribbons, and have fun as a team playing in the pool from 5-6 pm.

Meet dates- Thursday evenings. May 29, June 5, 12, 19, and 24 (this last one is on a Tuesday). Locations TBD

Ga Tech Meet TBD June 26 or 27

We are happy to offer a discount for multiple children and swimmers over age 13 also receive a discount! We are open to swimmers outside of the neighborhood as well- please invite your friends!

Lastly, we need YOU! If you have a child swimming at a meet, we will more than likely need you to volunteer for a shift. We cannot run without our fabulous parent volunteers.

We are one of the few teams left that does not make you agree to a certain number of volunteer hours or pay a fee if you don’t meet those hours. We have been lucky to have wonderful people step up and volunteer in the past, but they can’t do it alone. Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience. We will train you, you will make new friends and have a lot of fun being part of the team too!
