Hi Swimmers, Great job at the meet tonight! It is so much fun to watch how far you have all grown from our first practice to now. At our first meet, we scored a little over 150 points overall, and at this meet we scored over 300 points!! We still lost to the other teams, but that doesn't matter to me. I always tell the swimmers and my own kids that they are competing against themselves and their last time the earned in their event. There has been so much growth! Yes, winning is a lot of fun and we definitely had some exciting wins in some events tonight, but I feel like our real win overall is how far we have come as a team, a community and as swimmers. 

I saw so many kids running around and playing together tonight. I saw siblings and friends cheering each other on. I saw swimmers helping friends when they didn't feel well, and I saw lots of sweet Big Fish and Little Fish friends encourage and cheer each other on tonight! These kids are making some fun summer swim team memories!

Thank you to all the volunteers tonight- we couldn't do it without you! 

We have another swim meet this coming Monday at Pinewalk. We have to have kids signed up by tomorrow evening. Please mark whether you child can attend or not, please volunteer and put your child's event preferences as well. 

I'll send out a Ga Tech email as soon as I have more info this weekend.
