Hi Swim Team Family,

Excellent job tonight! I loved seeing everyone come together and help out for the benefit of the kids and the meet tonight . Thank you to everyone who volunteered, you were all so important! Thank you to our concessions crew, to our set up and take down crew, to our announcer, our treasurer, our volunteer coordinator, all the parents, all the swimmers and all of our coaches! Did you know that our lovely Junior Coaches, Ella and Megan do all of this for the experience and because they love kids so much? Aren't they amazing?? Megan was also our National Anthem singer tonight- way to go, Megan! 

While we did not win in points tonight, we definitely won with heart! I saw so many Big Fish and Little Fish come together to give hugs, encouragement and high fives! I saw swimmers step outside of their comfort zone to swim new events they hadn't before and to cover for swimmers who couldn't be there. I saw our tiniest swimmers work so hard to make it across those long lanes, and I saw big swimmers shaking hands with their opponents once they finished a race. I saw our coaches coaching until the very last second, cheering loudly for everyone, and playing with swimmers in their downtime. Wow! What an amazing group we have!

Fun Friday is tomorrow- thank you to our parents for providing treats for our swimmers! Unfortunately, I won't be there but our other amazing coaches will! I heard they want to see some good games of Sharks and Minnows :) If you cannot make it, don't worry, we will save your ribbons for you.
