Home Swim Meet Tomorrow
Hi Team,
It's been so nice to see so many of you at practice this week. Your swimmers are really working hard on the strokes and getting across the pool quicker.
Tomorrow we have a home meet against thee Deer Lake Wave Runners. Our warm up time is at 4:30 sharp. Please get here around 4:15 if you can so we can check you in and make sure your swimmer is all ready for the meet.
Get a good night sleep, eat well, and mark those arms before you come again please! We had close to 100% participation rate last time- thank you! That allows the coaches to coach your kids during warms up!
Concessions will be available for purchase. There will be hot dogs and hamburgers for $5 and chips, candy and soda for $1 or less. Our concessions stand will take cash, Venmo or Zelle. No credit cards.
King of Pops will also be here and they will take cash and credit cards.
Sandra will have shirts for all who did not get theirs last week.
Big Fish Little Fish, please make sure to check-in with your little fish, ask them what events they are swimming, how they are feeling and have a sign or a small gift for them! Little Fish can do the same for their Big Fish.
Please be respectful of the "NO PARKING on this side" signs. We want to keep the neighbors happy. There is NO parking in the pool parking lot or the tennis courts. Parking will be available on one side of the road. Get there early for the best parking.
Please stay for all of your events tomorrow and until the end of the meet to cheer on our swimmers if you can. We have about 58 kids swimming tomorrow (Go, Dunmoor!!), and the Waver Runners have about 100. We will be out numbered, but I know our kids will swim hard! They always do.
If you have made it to the bottom of this email, thank you for reading everything! It takes a village and I'm so glad you are a part of ours!
We will watch the weather and keep an eye on it. We will send out emails if anything changes with our meet.
See you tomorrow at 4:15! Please remember goggles, towels to sit on and swim caps if you wear them.
Sincerely,
Coach Dawn
