Parents,

Here is the plan for tomorrow. 

1. The coaches will take care of everything on the deck. We will line all of the 8 and unders up starting at 5pm. We will then have them swim their events one heat at a time, one event after another. They will not take breaks to chat with parents between events. We are going to swim them until they are done. When they finish, they can get some food and stay and watch the older kids or go home (PLEASE stay and get some food). We should be done by 6pm. 

2. At 6pm, we will line up all of the older kids. We will have them swim one heat at a time, one event after another. They will also not take any breaks to chat with parents between events. They will also swim until they are done. Each swimmer will have the chance to swim any event they want. They can opt out of any event at any time. We would like someone to swim each event, and we will talk about that as a group; but that is ok if no one is willing as well. They should all be done at 7pm as well. At the end, the pool will be open for everyone to swim if they so choose. 

3. I encourage the older kids to come early and cheer on the little swimmers. I had originally planned to not have big fish / little fish, but the swimmers were a little bummer when I mentioned that. So, pairs (or groups for the women) are listed below. 

4. Basically, it will look like a better organized practice (I hope). You just need to come and watch and maybe meet the parents and relax while your children have fun swimming. I actually think this might be the best event of the year so far.
