Parents, 

The ASA championship meet entries are due this Friday. If you want to go, please sign up by Tuesday at 7:30pm. This will give me a few days to figure out the best event for your child and to create and enter relays. I have also opened up the ability for you to suggest what event your child swims at the ASA championships. If I feel they would be best in another event, I will reach out to you. Additionally, if you want your child to be considered for the Alpharetta / Johns Creek State Rec swim team, please let me know. We have to identify them in our ASA championship entry. (They must compete in the ASA championships). 

It will be HOT this week (100s on Wednesday and Thursday). Therefore, We have moved our swim meet on Thursday to a VIRTUAL meet. Our team will show up at their NORMAL PRACTICE time, and we will have each kid swim their events. This will shorten the time that any child / parent / person needs to be in the heat. The other team will swim at their pool this week and record times. We will then enter those times into a computer and score the meet. Everyone will still get ribbons from their swims on Thursday. I am still working on details, but most likely we will not need any volunteers for the meet. We as coaches should be able to get all the kids to swim a couple of events and record times. Like every other week, I still need to submit entries to the other team. Therefore, please signup to swim by Tuesday at 7:30pm. 

Obviously, I will send more out later this week, but the above messages are important because of the deadlines.
