One Practice tonight 5-6pm! (All Groups)

What a night! Thank you to everyone that helped us endure a long and hot night. I am so proud of all the swimmers! We had a lot of them try new events and push their boundaries. We spoke a little during Wednesday's practice about the importance of trying new things, and it showed up at the meet. We had a few nervous swimmers, but they persevered and did great! 

Again, thank you to all of our parent helpers. As you are learning, the meets don't run without a lot of help from our parents.  We are constantly tinkering and learning more efficient ways of doing things, and I think we started to find a groove as the meet progressed (those first relays are always chaotic!) 

Also, did you know we had such talented kids outside of the pool? Jixuan Li with a beautiful national anthem! and, we have a world class dancer and chess champions! You have some AMAZING children! Dunmoor Rocks! 

There are so many kids to highlight; but, I will try to single out a couple... 

Luciana Noya, Michal Zolotov, Avi Zolotov all overcoming some fears about the meets to compete and do it so well! 

Aki Temura and Mason Philips swimming every event in their age group! (I intended to split the 6 events up between the two of them, but in the chaos forgot to talk to them about it... and, then they just swam every one!)

Lastly, one little girl was in tears because she wanted to swim all 6 events and I had only put her in 3 individuals! I love the love of swimming!
