Cook Out - FRIDAY
Parents,
We have our first team event this Friday. We will be grilling up some hot dogs for everyone in attendance, and we will serve drinks and light snacks. We also have some girl scout cookies that were donated by a local troop! BUT, I need to know if you are coming. RSVP on our website by tomorrow evening. I will shop for the food on Friday morning.
For Friday's practice, we will do something a little different. I would like everyone to come from 5:30-6:30pm. We probably won't go the entire hour, but we will introduce the kids to their swimmer buddies and do something engaging with those pairs. Then, everyone can eat together after! Also, I would love to chat with any parents that are attending briefly about the meets. We might be able to do this while the kids are swimming! We can run over the different volunteer positions, the flow of the meets, the chaos of it all, etc.
Also, we will NOT have practice on the last day of school (Thursday, May 26). Dunmoor has a pool party for the neighborhood kids, and we want to leave the pool available for everyone.
Lastly, it has been amazing coaching all the kids the last two weeks. The warm water has allowed us to coach for so much longer, and it has been great watching the kids learn and try new things. Thanks for joining our team!
