Mock Meet Recap
Hi everyone,
We had a fun and exciting first meet last night. Thank you to everyone who attended the mock meet, and also thank you to those who volunteered last night. The mock meet was great practice for our dual meets this season. We want to say a few special thanks to the following people:
John and Jill Federico - for being the concessions coordinators for the meet. They helped set-up, run, and take-down concessions. In addition, they also helped with many other clubhouse functions including cleaning up areas in and around the pool, changing light bulbs, setting out deck chairs and umbrellas, etc. We could not have run a great meet without them.
Lindsay Phillips - for stepping in at the very last minute to sing our National Anthem, since we were having technical difficulties with our system. Lindsay appeared out of nowhere to save the day, and we greatly appreciate her for singing last night.
Nicole Sellars - for announcing our entire meet. Nicole bravely stepped into the role of announcing our meet last night, and she did a fantastic job.
Several other people also volunteered for positions for the first time yesterday, and we appreciate your efforts to learn and grow with us as a team.
We look forward to our away next dual meet on Thursday, May 30th at Tuxford. Registration is now open for this meet on the website.
