Mock Meet - Today!
Hi!
We've been watching the radar this morning and it looks like we might be ok for our mock meet. Thunderstorms end at 4PM... Swimmers need to arrive by 4:30PM, warm ups at 5:00PM with our mock meet starting at 5:30PM sharp. We will swim in the rain, but will not in thunder and/or lightening. If thunder and/or lightening happen during our meet than we are required to take a 1/2 hour break.
Please bring googles, swim caps (we have a few silicone swim caps available for sale $12), towels, money for concessions and our Aurora Cineplex basket raffle (includes 4 movie passes, popcorn, drinks AND 4 passes for a round of 18 hole miniature golf and many other goodies included in the basket)... $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 6 and $10 for 15. Winner will be announced at the mock meet. Please support our concessions and raffles this summer. Should we need to purchase any required equipment (lane lines, starter, etc..) this money allows us to do this.
We have many new families and this will be their first time at a swim meet. As always if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
